i jumped from typepad...mostly because i did not want to pay to play. i am a horrible blogger though and if i blog once a month i consider myself a champion!
today the weather was better here...about 17 Celsius, much nicer than what it has been. kirk and connor hit balls at the driving range for the first time this year...... also the geese are starting to come, i love the honking sound. i get pretty excited because it means that spring is definitely around the corner.
3 more sleeps until we go to hawaii...i am so excited. i think about it first thing in the morning, all day and at night. i know that 10 days goes by fast and it will be over before i know it, but this has been a long winter and i can't wait to get to the beach. i have 2 books to read, ekhart tolle's and a fun sophie kinsella book (i love fluff books). the plan is to read on the beach all day!!
i think steph is coming over with elin tonight (daughter & grand daughter)and steph is going to do my nails..such a girl thing.
here is my scrap room..i was downstairs but connor swapped rooms with me. i love being upstairs..so mucg=h better for me and he now likes to be away from the rest of us...funny how that goes! so i got new shelving and i love my room, i can spend hours in here doing very little....today i did one scrapbooking page and a lot of web surfing and downloading tunes for my ipod.
i love this bookcase from ikea. i bought the big one and then added the smaller one beside it and another small one in another spot in the room.
